Job brief


We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead, plan and manage the organization’s financial strategy and execution, as well as represent the Company in front of Institutional and other investors. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management and will be an excellent leader and advocate in all that related to the board of directors, investors, and other strategic liaisons.


As a CFO in our growing Start-Up, you will:


• Act as Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to the executive leadership team

• Maintaining investor relations and taking a major role in fundraising for the company, in varied ways and with several investment bodies

• Oversee the preparation and communication of Quarterly monthly and annual financial statements to management and TASE including formal financial reports per IFRS.

• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts

• Provide insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth plans

• Communicate, engage and interact with the Company's investors, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Leadership Team

• Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion (including fundraising plans)

• Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models • Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures

• Work with Human Resources functions and external legal counsel on all matters of commercial agreement, employee compensation and HR legal

• Oversee contracts with both vendors and partnerships


Requirements


• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA or MBA – a must

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a publicly traded company, with strong preference to start up experience

• Experience as a CFO or Senior Controller at a public tech company, or senior role at an accounting firm– a must

• Experience in facilitating and concluding fundraising rounds

• Outstanding knowledge and experience with tax compliance and statutory reporting

• Vast experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues

• Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, in both Hebrew and English
